Credit Roller Coaster

As we close the first month of the year it's a good time to reflect how things have been going. How have your New Year's resolutions been going? Have you actually lost weight? Have you found the person of your dreams? Have you made more money? Have you decided to change your credit habits? If you haven't made much progress, make a new resolution to follow me on a credit journey. Over the next several weeks we're going to walk through a mini series of how real people are approaching credit and their ups and downs with a credit program. We're going see their successes, their failures, their start and ending credit scores and track their progress. Like a roller coaster there will be ups and downs, twists and turns as the credit starts to adjust to the new habits. There will be unfamiliar behavior and it will seem like forever during the journey. Unlike a roller coaster this process won't result in major drops, it will result in rising numbers.

I want this to be an interactive experience for both the participants and the readers. I realize that this type of hands on interaction to go from low to high with credit and to totally restructure a person's financial behavior is against the norm, but the norm is what really ruins people since the majority of the country is in debt. This is may be different than what most people are doing but if done correctly it will produce results.  This type of information is the stuff most people need but don't want. Most will never Google this type of information until they have a problem, while many will look for ways to squander and aid in detrimental money habits like payday loans. Please be the exception to the rule and stay tuned for the series.
