My Financial Inspiration

To me finances are a means to an end, and my end is traveling. Over the past five years, I've realized that I value experiences more than anything else and my greatest experiences have been traveling. About five years ago I decided that I'm going to find a way to travel where I want, the best way I possibly can for as little as possible. That required me to get my finances in order and through that I found a new hobby for traveling once I understood how to navigate credit cards. (BTW there are many sites dedicated to the use of credit cards to support traveling so I won't discuss any of those on this site).

Due to my fixation with traveling and culture I'm dedicating this site of the blog to traveling. Pretty much my reward for good financial habits and budgeting. With the right plan in place anyone can visit the places I will post and more such as my most recent trip, LAS VEGAS.

With some good planning and budgeting I was able to visit Las Vegas over this past New Year's with a few friends.  Ate well, drank well, and somehow managed to make it back from Las Vegas.

I've been to Vegas a few times and it seems like I always have a different experience. Whether it was getting the chance to stay at the Elara (just for sitting through a timeshare presentation), riding the High Roller, eating at several different famed restaurants or toasting at Chateau above the Paris hotel and casino there is always something to do.

I didn't get the chance to take a photo of everything we did (after all what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas). So for those that wanted pictures of nothing more than sheer debauchery, you'll have to use your imagination. While the pictures are few, the memories will last a lifetime and when you get the chance to travel with friends you easily forget about time, money or worries.

As I said, traveling has become my inspiration and in looking for travel I stumbled across numerous ways to boost my credit and take control of my finances.

The real question is....What's your inspiration and how can you can use it to move forward?
